So many happy stories to share... but more work is needed, always

We recently added a new section to the site: "adopted". Thankfully, we have many dogs who found homes since we started this site. They all had very similar stories: found on the street, abandoned, mistreated, abused, scared, hungry, sick. It's an endless cycle, repeating itself over and over. This shelter, the one we support, is a small operation run by local volunteers under the direction of two incredibly caring women. What keeps them going is the good endings, the fact that they have helped saved the lives of many dogs, fed them, showed them love and found loving homes. But the shelter is FULL. So many dogs are still waiting. A few have been there for too long. But this post is about the good ending. It shows that the efforts and support we get from Canada, Greece and around Europe matters and makes a difference. So thank you for your support. And if you are in Greece any of this days, reach out. The team would love to show you the work they do and introduce you to the wonderful dogs that live there. Who knows, maybe you find a new friend and decide to take him or her home and make their day/life... Just like Mailo!
