Covid-19 restrictions affecting overseas adoptions

Europe, Canada and USA are experiences tougher travel restrictions. Countries are updating their travel bans & border closing on a daily basis which in turn affects adoptions outside of Greece. Please keep in mind our #1 priority is to find suitable homes for our dogs as fast as possible. Not only to give them a home faster but also to make room for other dogs waiting to come into our shelter, Before Covid, a dog could be "reserved" until we had travel companions to take them to their new homes. Today, the reality is families and dogs are waiting months to be united. It forces us to consider "first come, first serve" options. Please keep this in ind if you are interested in adoption and live outside of Greece. We will update everyone as borders open up and restrictions ease up.
